Crime and Traffic Data

The Rutland City Police Department periodically publishes crime and traffic data collected via our speed cart and in-house records keeping system. This data is also provided to the Patrol Division so as to better inform them where they should focus their patrols. To request the speed cart be placed in your neighborhood, contact Rutland City Police dispatch (802-773-1816). The speed cart is generally moved on a weekly basis, and data is generally posted within 48 hours after it is moved. The department also releases daily logs of our calls for service.
